Pinkerton

Oh Pinkerton. I love you dearly. Every song on here is Weezer at their best. Before Cuomo decided he was a bitch and started making awful shit. There was only perfection in the form of Pinkerton and The Blue Album. Seriously, listen to this and The Blue Album and then their later work and the only question you're going to have is "What the fuck happened?". Unfortunately Pinkerton did not sell well at all and a lot of the critics hated it simply because it wasn't a sequel to The Blue Album. This drove Cuomo to a depression and he's become terribly afraid to put himself out there and make awesome music again. This makes me sad that such talent is put to waste because he cares that much about what people think. Regardless, this is Weezer's best album and one of the best "emo" albums ever. I can't recommend this album enough. It's about as catchy as you can get.
